IFPA Mission STATEMENT

The mission of the IFPA is to foster and enhance communication, collaboration, and trust between the community of Idaho Falls and School District 91.

IFPA Purpose

SERVE AS A BRIDGE

The IFPA will act as a conduit between the Idaho Falls community and School District 91, ensuring that the voices, concerns, and aspirations of patrons are conveyed to the district, and reciprocally, that the district's goals, initiatives, and challenges are transparently communicated to the community. The IFPA will increase community understanding and awareness of district policies, operations, and the broader educational landscape offering insights to create positive impact.

PROMOTE COLLABORATION

The IFPA will create platforms and opportunities where Idaho Falls students, educators, administrators, board members, and community members can come together to discuss, plan, and implement initiatives beneficial for the overall growth and success of students.

BUILD TRUST

The IFPA will endeavor to dispel myths, address misconceptions, and provide factual information to the community about the district's operations, decisions, and achievements. By cultivating a culture of honesty and accountability, the IFPA seeks to solidify trust and mutual respect.

IFPA OBJECTIVES

IFPA objectives lay the groundwork for the IFPA's activities, guiding their efforts to bridge the gap between the community of Idaho Falls and School District 91.

SUPPORT EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE: Partner with School District 91 to enhance educational standards and opportunities, ensuring students receive the best possible education. Organize events and forums where community members, educators, students, district administrators, directors, superintendents, and school board members can collaboratively discuss, plan, and execute educational initiatives.
EMPOWERING EDUCATIONAL FACILITY IMPROVEMENT: Advocate for the maintenance, upgrade, and expansion of educational facilities that meet the needs of current and future students. Work in partnership with School District 91 to gather community input on facility-related issues, ensuring that spaces are safe, inclusive, and conducive to learning.
STRENGTHEN COMMUNICATION CHANNELS: Develop and maintain robust, transparent, and accessible communication pathways between the Idaho Falls community and School District 91. This includes regular updates on district initiatives, policies, and outcomes. Establish mechanisms for gathering community feedback and ensuring it is utilized constructively within School District 91 for continuous growth and improvement.
BUILD AND RESTORE TRUST: Address any misconceptions or misunderstandings between the community and the district. This involves proactively sharing data, success stories, challenges, and district decisions in a transparent manner to foster trust.
ENGAGE COMMUNITY OUTREACH: Foster a deeper connection between School District 91 and the Idaho Falls community through proactive outreach. Initiate educational awareness campaigns, host interactive workshops, and develop partnerships with local organizations and businesses. Ensure that every member of the community feels informed, involved, and invested in the success and progress of our students and schools.
PROMOTE COMMUNITY INCLUSIVITY: Ensure that the diverse voices and concerns of the Idaho Falls community are represented and conveyed to School District 91. This includes considerations for different socio-economic, cultural, and demographic groups within the community.
